Scheduler Daily Cards View

The "Cards" view focuses on a single day, providing improved visibility and flexibility to quickly make last-minute changes to move workers between jobs.

Functionality:

  • One Day Scheduling View

    • In the upper left, you'll see a date. Click on that date to open a calendar and pick the day you want to see in the Cards view. 

  • Cards represent Orders

    • Each card is an order that is active on the selected day. You can filter and search for orders, just like the timeline view.

  • Expand and Collapse Cards 

    • Cards are shown in the Collapsed view so you can see more of them on one screen without scrolling. Click the carrot in the upper left corner of a card to expand it and allocate workers to roles. You can expand or collapse all cards from the 3 vertical ellipses in the upper right corner of the screen. 

  • Drag Workers between Jobs

    • Expand a card to see the workers allocated to that job on the selected day, then click and drag a worker to a role on another Expanded job card. That worker and assigned equipment is now removed from the allocation and assigned on the new one. 

  • Quick filters:

    • You'll see three key filters at the top of the Cards view:

      • Unfilled Workers – Only displays job cards where worker roles are not fully allocated

      • Unfilled Assets – Shows only job cards with missing equipment assignments

      • Double Booked – Highlights job cards with overlapping worker allocations, making it easy to identify and resolve conflicts

  • Sort/Group By

    • In the Search bar, there is a filter icon - click that and then click the Sort/Group By button. Here, you have 3 grouping options:

      • None - all job cards are displayed on the screen toghether. Optimized for seeing the maximum number of jobs on a single screen.

      • Customers - job cards are grouped together by client. Use this when you have multiple orders running in parallel for a single client and want to see that visually.

      • Project -  job cards are grouped together by project. Use this when you have multiple orders running in parallel for a single project and want to see that visually.

  • Display Settings

    • Click the 3 vertical dots in the upper right corner, then click Display settings. This allows you to configure the data showing on the collapsed and expanded cards.

  • Timeline view functionality is preserved

    • You can still add notes, push shifts forward, SMS and so much more - all from the 3 vertical dots on each job card.
