Use this article to log in to Assignar using your Google, Microsoft, or Apple account (SSO), or to get a quick sign-in link sent to your email instead of entering a password.

Login options overview
The Assignar login screen offers several ways to sign in. Enter your email and password as usual, or choose one of the alternatives below the Login button.
Log in with Google, Microsoft, or Apple
Linking your Google, Microsoft, or Apple account lets you sign in without entering your Assignar password each time.
Important Do this only after you have logged in with your password at least once. Attempting to link an SSO provider before your first password login can prevent you from accessing your account. |
To link an SSO provider for the first time:
- On the Assignar login screen, tap Login with Google, Login with Microsoft, or Login with Apple.
- Sign in to your chosen provider using the account whose email matches your Assignar account.
- Once verified, you will be redirected back in to Assignar and the provider will be linked.
- From now on, tap the same provider button each time you log in.

Use a quick sign-in link
A quick sign-in link lets you log in without a password. Assignar sends a one-time link to your email address. This is useful if you have forgotten your password or simply prefer not to type it each time.
- On the Assignar login screen, tap Send Quick Sign-In Link.
- Enter your email address and tap Send.
- Check your email for a message from Assignar and tap the link inside.
- You will be logged in automatically and redirected back to the Assignar app.

Troubleshooting SSO issues
SSO button redirects to an error or loops back to login
- Make sure the email on your SSO account exactly matches the email on your Assignar account. Even a small difference will cause a mismatch.
- If you have never logged in with a password first, return to the login screen, enter your email and password, and log in that way. Then log back out and try linking your SSO provider again.
- Try clearing your browser or app cache, then attempt SSO again.
You linked the wrong SSO account
- Contact Assignar Support to request an unlink the provider from your account so you can re-link with the correct one.
Quick sign-in link email never arrived
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Make sure you entered the correct email address.
- Add noreply@assignar.com to your contacts and request a new link.
Things to know
- SSO is not configured by an admin. Each worker links their own provider on their own device.
- You must log in with a password at least once before setting up SSO. Skipping this step can lock you out of your account.
- Your SSO email address must exactly match your Assignar account email. If they differ, SSO will not work.
- Quick sign-in links are one-time use and expire quickly. If it does not work, request a new one.
- If you lose access to your SSO provider (for example, leaving a company and losing your Microsoft account), contact Assignar Support to restore password-based login.
