Use this article to fix the most common reasons you cannot log in to the Assignar Mobile App.
|
Before you start This article is for the Assignar Mobile App (mobile.assignar.com or the iOS/Android app). For dashboard login issues, contact your administrator. You will need your Client ID, email address, and access to the inbox linked to your account. |
I see "Invalid email or password"
This is the only error Assignar shows when login fails, regardless of the actual cause. Work through the possibilities below.
- Type your email and password manually. Do not use autofill or a saved password, autofill can silently add extra characters or be incorrectly spelt.
- Check your Client ID if requested when logging in. It is the short company name your administrator gave you, not your email address.
- Confirm you are using the email address your administrator used to create your account, it may differ from your usual work email.
- If your account has never been verified, you cannot log in. Check your inbox (including spam) for a Welcome to Assignar email from noreply@assignar.com and click the link inside. If you cannot find it, reach out to Assignar Support to resend it.
- If you do not have Allow Mobile Access on your account, you cannot log in to the mobile app. Ask your administrator to make sure it is enabled on your worker profile.
- If you have forgotten your password, see the next section
|
Quickest alternative Tap Send Quick Sign-In Link on the login screen. Enter your email and click the link that arrives - no password needed. |
I have forgotten my password
- Tap Forgot your password? on the login screen.
- Enter your email address and tap Submit.
- Check your inbox (and spam) for an email from noreply@assignar.com and follow the link to set a new password.
- You must then log in with your new password the first time, make sure to type manually.

Password requirements At least 8 characters, including one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number. |
|
If no reset email arrives The email address you entered is not in the system, or your account is not yet verified. Assignar does not show an error in either case. If you have requested a reset more than 3 times in 60 seconds, wait a minute before trying again. Ask your administrator to confirm your email address and verify your account, then request a new reset. |
I am trying to log in with Google, Microsoft, or Apple
- You must log in with a password at least once before SSO will work. If you have never logged in, set your password via section 2 first.
- Your SSO email address must exactly match the email on your Assignar account. Ask your administrator to confirm if unsure.
- If you linked the wrong SSO account or lost access to your SSO provider, contact Assignar Support to reset it.
The app keeps logging me out or will not open
- Update the app to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play.
- Check your device date and time: go to Settings > Date & Time and make sure Set Automatically is on. An incorrect device time can end your session.
- Avoid using quick sign-in links for day-to-day login, they create shorter sessions than password login.
- If the app crashes, force-close it, restart your device, or delete and reinstall it. Your data is stored on Assignar's servers, not on the device.

Minimum requirements iOS 14 or newer. Android 11 or newer. Alternatively, log in via a web browser at mobile.assignar.com |
Still stuck??
Most login issues come down to account configuration. Ask your administrator to check:
- your email address is correct
- Allow Mobile Access is enabled
If everything looks correct and you still cannot log in, contact Assignar Support.
