Enterprise Releases — (Month & Year)

Joshua McKinnon Joshua McKinnon

Background

Assignar releases features and improvements to our platform as soon as they are ready, in order to deliver customer value efficiently and consistently.

We understand that our Enterprise Customers have unique needs to manage internal change management and training which is inconsistent with continuous delivery of features. This document describes an Enterprise Release process that is designed to accommodate the particular needs of Enterprise Customers

Monthly Releases

All Significant Changes to the Assignar platform are delivered to Enterprise Customers on a monthly cycle, with releases occurring on or around the first week of each month.

The Monthly release comprises of any pending releases that have been released to non-enterprise customers during the first half of the previous month.

Under this process, enterprise customers always have at least two weeks notice of impending significant changes to the platform.

Not included in this process are what we consider Major Changes - these would include completely replacing or removing old features, which typically include significant in-app transition periods for all customers.

Previewing Changes

Enterprise customers have a Preview client in our production environment, and features are released to these clients using our non-enterprise continuous delivery process.

Around the 15th of each month, Assignar will communicate any pending changes that are due to be released, and invite our enterprise customers to preview these changes in their preview environment.

Any Assignar Significant releases that occur in the second half of the month will be delivered to the preview environments, but will not be enabled on Enterprise customers' main accounts until the following monthly cycle.

Not included in this process are what we consider Major Changes - these would include completely replacing or removing old features, which typically include significant in-app transition periods for all customers.

Mobile Application Changes

Our mobile application is updated regularly through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store - these app updates will continue to occur for all customers including enterprise customers, however new features will be enabled for enterprise customers on the schedule described above.

What is a Significant Change?

We consider a Significant Change as a change where we would include in-product communication as part of the release process, or a change that requires updating our product documentation.

Collecting Feedback

Assignar will gratefully accept feedback on pending changes, however this should not be considered an “Approval” or “UAT” process.

Should critical issues be raised through this process then Assignar may consider delaying release of a feature to all Enterprise customers pending review of those issues.

Release timing can not be altered for individual Enterprise customers.

Continuous Delivery of Small Changes and Improvements

Minor changes, improvements and bug fixes will continue to be delivered to all customers on a continuous delivery basis.

Such changes include, but are not limited to:

• bug fixes
• performance improvements
• technical tasks, including refactors, logging, minor infrastructure change
• minor design changes
