Legacy: Site Diary Setup and Permissions

Who this article is for 

  • Any worker set up as a Project Supervisor and required to submit a Site Diary.

Site Diary allows Supervisors capture everything that happened on site, such as:

  • Timesheets for your crew
  • Tracking time against multiple Activities
  • Weather
  • Progress Tracking
  • Chargeable Items (any extra expenses on the job)
  • Notes and photos
  • Additional Questions
  • Client approval with electronic signature


For Administators

To have access to Site Diary, it must be enabled in your account. To enable, please contact your Customer Success Rep.



Set up your Project Supervisors

Once Site Diary is enabled in your account, next set up your Project Supervisors.

  1. Navigate to the Projects web page
  2. Select a Project
  3. Within the Project's detail page, add your Supervisors in the Supervisors field.
  4. Save Project


Can't add Supervisors?

Make sure that the Setting, Allow supervisors to create site diary is set to Yes




Add Work Item Codes to a Project to track Activities

  1. Within the Project's detail page, add the relevant Work Item Codes.
  2. Save Project




Next, assign your Project Supervisor/s to an Order with Scheduler

Once the above is set up, your Project Supervisors will be able to create a Site Diary!
