Add a Digital Docket (Ticket) to a Client

Add a docket (ticket) template to a client so it is available in a worker's allocation and so client contacts can receive submitted dockets automatically.

Before you start

Add a docket template to a client

  1. Go to Project Data > Clients.
  2. Click the client's name to open the Client details page.
  3. Click into the Docket Templates field and select the appropriate template.
  4. (Optional) Add client contacts to the Select Docket Contacts field if you want them to receive a copy of every submitted docket.
    • Leave this field blank if you want to review dockets before the client receives them.
    • If the contact does not appear in the list, add them to the client first using Add New.
  5. Click Save Client.

Things to know

  • Client contacts only receive PDF copies of submitted dockets if a custom print template is attached to the docket template. Without a custom print template attached, no PDF is generated.
  • More than one docket template can be added to the same client. Workers will see all assigned templates when completing their allocation.
  • Docket contacts are pulled from the client's contact list. If a contact is not in the dropdown, they have not been linked to the client yet.
  • Removing a docket template from a client does not affect historical submissions. Previously submitted dockets remain in the system.
  • The Select Docket Contacts field is independent from Select Contacts. A contact must be added specifically to docket contacts to receive docket PDFs.
