A client is a company or someone that you carry out work for. They can be internal or external and you might rename Clients to something else in our Custom Terminology module.
Most modules in Assignar link back to the Clients Module. It is a key building block in linking of data. It assists you being able to easily distinguish what work is or has been carried out for a period of time.
You cannot create an order or submit a timesheet in Assignar without a client. We suggest as a best practice to set up your own company as a client and that way you can create orders against it and also workers can submit timesheets against your company when they carry out internal work or have a wet day.
