You’ve created your first project with Assignar. Amazing! Now, it’s time to attach some work to that overall project.
Let’s add a work order.
Why am I doing this?
Work orders are the smaller steps required to complete a client project, and we’ll need people and equipment to do it. The work order is crucial in Assignar because it’s what we schedule against.
Here’s how to do it:
- In the left-hand menu, click into ‘Work Planning’.
- Click ‘Work Orders’.
- Click ‘Add New Work Order’.
- Choose the work order type, the client, and the start/end date. New client or didn’t import your clients? No problem! Click ‘Add New’.
- Fill out any other important information.
- Click ‘Save Work Order’
Where do we include ‘Add Forms’?
Next, we’ll assign our people and equipment to this work order in the scheduler.
