You’ve created your first project with Assignar. Amazing! Now, it’s time to attach some work to that overall project. 


Let’s add a work order. 


Why am I doing this? 

Work orders are the smaller steps required to complete a client project, and we’ll need people and equipment to do it. The work order is crucial in Assignar because it’s what we schedule against. 


Here’s how to do it: 

  1. In the left-hand menu, click into ‘Work Planning’.
  2. Click ‘Work Orders’. 
  3. Click ‘Add New Work Order’.
  4. Choose the work order type, the client, and the start/end date. New client or didn’t import your clients? No problem! Click ‘Add New’. 
  5. Fill out any other important information. 
  6. Click ‘Save Work Order’ 


Where do we include ‘Add Forms’?


Next, we’ll assign our people and equipment to this work order in the scheduler.
