Adding a few assets is easy, if you need to add a bunch of assets then you can use our Assisted Import, which allows you setup your assets in bulk.
Overview
Classes
- Classes are an optional field used for reporting purposes. These are often used to group multiple pieces of equipment under a single cost centre.
- You can group asset hours together by class in Insights. Assignar Pay also uses classes to group equipment time from multiple pieces of equipment under the same bid item in the job costing module.
- Create and manage classes by clicking on the Manage Asset Classes button in the upper right hand corner of the screen on the Assets page.
Add Assets to Assignar
- Under Resources, go to the Assets page
- Tap Add New
- Complete required fields (description below)

| Suppliers | Asset can be linked to suppliers like rental companies. |
| Tags | Asset tags are used to group similar equipment to make them easy to find and schedule. |
| Tasks (Roles) | Tasks are the type of work that the asset can do when paired with an operator. |
