8: Filling Out Forms & Loose Forms

For many businesses, filling forms are required as part of a role. Assignar comes with pre-built forms that are universally used, such as a Covid-19 Safe Work form. 

 

Why am I doing this?

Other than protecting your business and fieldworkers from risk, you can derive a lot of information from what you gather through forms. 

 

Here’s how to do it (click to see the video below):

 

Here are the steps: 

  1. From the home screen of the Assignar app, tap ‘Timesheets’. 
  2. Tap the role you are performing under its respective date. 
  3. If a form is tied to a shift, you’ll see it when you scroll down. Tap the form to complete it. 
  4. Tap ‘Save’. 

 

But what if you weren’t expecting to fill out the form, or if the form wasn’t tied to your schedule? 

Enter: Loose Forms!

 

Loose forms are forms that weren’t part of the schedule. E.g. an Incident Report. 

 

Here’s how to fill out loose forms: 

 

  1. From the home screen of the Assignar app, tap ‘Forms’. 
  2. In here, you’ll see the whole list of available forms. Tap the form you want to fill out. 
  3. Choose the client and project related to the form. Fill out any other details.
  4. If applicable, attach images. 
  5. Tap ‘Submit’. 

 

Now, we’ll learn how supervisors approve time, so we can send that data back to the office.
