After creating projects, work orders, and tracking time against those work orders, we have a lot of data stored in Assignar. 

Assignar’s Insights brings this data to life. 

By using one of the pre-built Reports, you can see exactly what’s going on in your business. You can retrieve data and filter through it to receive answers to your questions. 

Dashboards visually presents the health of your business at a glance using multiple reports. 

Why am I doing this?

Well, you don’t have to. But bringing the right data together can point to how efficient your operations are, how productive your people are, and if you’re meeting your goals. 

Here’s how to do it (click to see the video below):


Here are the steps:

  1. In the left-hand menu, click ‘Insights’. 
  2. Click on ‘Reports’. 
  3. Choose from one of the reports or use the search bar at the top to search one of your pre-built reports. 
  4. Click the three dots in the top right corner, and click ‘Download’ and choose the format. 
  5. To schedule a report, click the same three dots and then click ‘Schedule Delivery’ and fill out how often you want a report to be sent out, where it’s sent to, and in what format. 


If you want to build your own report:

  1. In the left-hand menu, click ‘Insights’. 
  2. Click on ‘Explore’
  3. Select the area of your business you want to pull a report from in the top menu. 
  4. Under the left-hand ‘Subject Area’ menu in Insights, drag and drop data fields (based on the questions that you have)
  5. Click run (top right corner)\
  6. To download, click the gear icon in the top left and click ‘Download’.
