A Check In/Out Timesheet is the easiest and most accurate way to submit a Timesheet, and involves a small number of taps.
Note: You'll only be able to check into your shift between 3 hours before the start of your shift to 3 hours after your shift.
If you forget to check in 3 hours after the end of your shift, you can no longer use Check In/Out. Instead, you will need to submit a Post Shift Timesheet.
How to create a Timesheet using Check In/Out
To begin, confirm your Assignment
- In the Daily Log homepage, you should see a Pending Assignment card.
- Tap Confirm.
Don't forget to complete any Required forms (if any)
Required Forms will show up underneath the Assignment card and must be submitted before submitting your Timesheet.
Don't worry, if you forget to complete your Required Form, we will give you another reminder before you submit your Timesheet.

Next, check into your Assignment
There are two ways to Check In, you can:
- Check into the default Activity or,
- Check into a different Activity
To check into the default Activity
In the example shown in the image below, the default Activity is Work On Site, which may be different for you.
- Tap Check In.
- Tap Confirm.
- You will then be checked into the default Activity and the timer will start running.
To check into a different Activity
- Tap Next Activity next to the Check In button.
- Select an Activity
- Tap Start
- You will be then be checked into the selected Activity and the timer will start running.
Start a Break
- To start a Break, tap Start Break
- The timer for your Break will start running.
End a Break
There are two ways to end a Break depending if you wanted to:
- Return to the previous Activity or,
- Start a different Activity
To end a break and return to the previous activity
- Tap End Break.
- The timer will then start running on the previously running Activity.
To end a Break and start a different Activity
- Tap Next Activity next to the Check In button.
- Select an Activity.
- Tap Start.
- The timer for your selected Activity will start running.
Starting a New Activity
- Tap Start New Activity
- Select Activity
- Tap Start
- The timer of your selected Activity will start running.
When you're done, tap Check Out
- Tap Check Out
- You will then be presented with an Add Timesheet page.
- Optionally, add Assets, Allowances, Dockets or comments.
And, finally submit your Timesheet!
You can choose to Sign and Submit now or Save to submit later.
Sign and Submit now
- When you tap Sign and Submit, you will be prompted for a signature.
- Add Signature
- Tap Submit
Save
- When you tap Save, you will be redirected back to the Daily Log homepage, where there will be a Submit Timesheets button for you to Sign and Submit later.
For Administrators: How to disable Check In/Out
Check In/Out is enabled by default. However, you can choose to turn this feature off for all workers from the Settings web page.
