Who this feature is for

  • Those set up as a Dashboard User with access to Dashboard Users page in the Assignar Web App.
  • Typically admin, responsible for setting up Assignar

You can create Dashboard user accounts, for those who need access to the Assignar Web App.

 

How to add a Dashboard User to Assignar

  1. Under Resources, go to the Dashboard Users page.
  2. Tap Add new Dashboard user
  3. Complete required fields
  4. Save User

 

After you've saved, let's setup their user permissions

After you've created and saved your dashboard user's information, you'll need to set their user access permissions. These settings control which types of data the user can create and edit in the Assignar Web App.

  1. After you tapped Save User above, you will then land on the User Access page.
  2. Edit as required
  3. Save access settings

Field Description
View Dashboard When enabled, this user will have access to view the Assignar Dashboard.
Add Projects/Clients When enabled, this user will be able to setup Projects and Clients.
Add Tasks (Roles) /Assets (Equipment) When enabled, this user will be able to setup Certificates, Equipment, Roles.
Documents When enabled, this user will be able to setup Documents.
Skills Competencies When enabled, this user will be able to setup Skills, Competencies and Inductions.
Orders When enabled, this user will be able to setup Orders and Assignments.
View timesheets/Dockets When enabled, this user will be able to manage Timesheets and Dockets.
Add Users When enabled, this user will be able to setup users to Assignar.
SMS When enabled, this user will be able to send or receive SMS messages from Assignar.
View Reports  When enabled, this user will be able to create and generate reports. Note, this needs to be toggled on in order to see the notifications from the Assignar Web App.
Forms When enabled, this user will be able to setup Forms.
Payroll When enabled, this user will have access to Payroll information.
Invoices When enabled, this user will be able to view invoices.
Charge Rates When enabled, this user will be able to setup Charge Rates.
Pay Rates When enabled, this user will be able to setup Pay Rates.
Chargeable Items When enabled, this user will be able to setup Chargeable Items on an Order.
Suppliers When enabled, this user will be able to setup Supplier information.
Settings When enabled, this user will be able to view and edit company wide settings.
Data Import When enabled, this user will be able to import data in Settings.
Edit Asset Ranking When enabled, this user will be able to view and edit asset (equipment) ranking.
Edit Supplier Ranking When enabled, this user will be able to view and edit supplier ranking.
Webhooks When enabled, this user will be able to administer web hooks.
Form Results only When enabled, this user will be able have access to Form Results
Read Only When enabled, users will only be able to view the modules that are enabled above.
Disable Tag Actions  When enabled, users will not be able to add or delete tags.

 

After the Dashboard User has been setup, they can then log into the Assignar Web App.

The Dashboard user can login to the Assignar Web App, using the credentials (Client ID and Username) that you set up above.
