Sage Intacct Configuration Guide

  • This guide will walk you through the necessary configuration in Sage Intacct. Once these steps have been complete, we'll be able to enable the Sage Intacct Integration for your company.
  • The Sage Intacct Integration is implemented via our Integrations Hub, a platform that allows for intuitive & flexible set-up & management of your integrations with 3rd party systems.
  • This is a paid additional feature of Assignar. Please reach out to your Assignar rep for pricing.

Prerequisites 

Subscribe to Web Services 

  1. Company > Subscriptions 
  2. Find ‘Web Services’ and click on it to Subscribe 

Subscribe to Construction Module 

  1. Company > Subscriptions 
  2. Find ‘Construction’ and click on it to Subscribe 

 

Sender ID

  1. Company > Company Info
  2. Click EDIT 
  3. Click on the ‘Security’ tab
  4. Go to the section labeled “Web Services authorizations” and add the Sender ID “AssignarMPP”
  5. Ensure the Status is “Active

 

Users

Instructions vary slightly depending on the client defining their security as “Role-Based” or “User-Based”.


Create User with Role-Based Security 

Create a Role 

  1. Company > Roles
  2. Click ADD
  3. Input a ‘Name’
  4. Click SAVE 
  5. Add the following subscriptions & permissions(in parenthesis):
    • Company (Read Only)
    • General Ledger (Read/Write)
    • Jobs (Read only)
    • Time & Expenses (Read/Write)
    • Inventory Control (Read Only)
    • Order Entry (Read Only)  
  6. Click SAVE

Create Web Service User 

  1. Company > Web Service User 
  2. Click NEW 
  3. Input values for these fields
    1. User ID
    2. Last name
    3. First name
    4. Email address
    5. Make sure the User Type = Business User 
  4. Click on the ‘Roles information’ tab and select the Role created in the prior step.
  5. Click SAVE 

Create User with User-Based security

Create Web Service User 

  1. Company > Web Service User 
  2. Click NEW 
  3. Input values for these fields
    1. User ID
    2. Last name
    3. First name
    4. Email address
    5. Make sure the User Type = Business User 
  4. Click SAVE 

Add permissions to that new user 

  1. Sage Intacct will return to the list of Web Service Users
  2. Find your Web Service User and click on SUBSCRIPTIONS 
  3. Add these Permissions for that user. 
  4. Click SAVE
