New Form Results BETA

  • Updated

Disclaimer: This is a beta feature, it is not yet fully developed and we are rapidly releasing new functionality to this area of the product. We expect to remove the beta label in May 2024. Submit your feedback HERE!

1 Minute Intro

What is it?

The New Form Results Beta introduces many new features to view, organize and filter your submitted form results while viewing images, signatures and attachments from one location. It allows desktop users to easily create reports that previously could only be created using Insights. Once fully developed, the New Form Results Beta will replace the current Form Results feature.

Note: we are actively working on a CSV export feature allowing the data to be viewed in Excel while maintaining all the filtering and sorting you applied in Assignar.

What's coming next?

  • CSV Export
    • Export data to Excel, data is formatted with the sorting and filters you apply in Assignar
  • Saved Views
    • After selecting a form type, applying filters and sorting, you can save the "view" so you can quickly access it in the future without needing to re-select all your filters.
  • Consolidation
    • We know, the left hand navigation is messy! We're creating one central page for all things related to forms.
    • The main page will show you all form results of all form types (similar to the legacy Form Results Page). Then once you select a form type, it will show all the form specific questions.

Selecting a Form Result

From the left hand nav, expand Field Data and select the New Form Results Beta (formerly called the Form Analyzer Beta). You'll then need to select a specific form type using the drop down menu at the the top left. After selecting the form type, all of the form results (the submissions on that form type) will populate the screen. If you don't see results on the screen yet, it's probably because there were no submissions during the selected date range, proceed to the next step.

Select a Date Range

Only form results submitted in the selected date range will appear on the screen. You can select a custom time range, or the last 1, 7 ,14, 30, or 60 days.

Filter Results

Once you've selected a form type and set the date range, you can begin to narrow down the responses that you would like displayed. You can filter to display only results which meet the filter criteria. In the screenshot below, a filter has been applied so that you'll only see responses where an issue was reported - indicating that maintenance is required.

Organize and Exclude Questions

To isolate the exact data in your search, you can exclude questions and organize the order in which they are displayed. In the example below, question #2 is unchecked so that column won't appear. Question #3 has been re-ordered to be displayed before Question #1 selecting the 6 dots and dragging to the desired order.

Assigned to and Status

You can use the filter feature to filter by the Assigned To and Status, but we also made these 2 filters easily accessible with their own buttons. Selecting a user from the Assigned To dropdown will display only form results submitted by that user. Selecting a status from the Status dropdown will display only form results with that status.

Sort by

And finally, sort your results by any column. Hover you mouse over the column header and an up or down arrow will appear, select the headder to sort by the results of that question.

View Signatures, Images and Attachments

Where ever a signature was provided on a form result, that signature will display within the results on the screen! If images were submitted as a question response, you can select them from the cell for them to display in a modal or download to desktop. Similarly with pdf question responses, you can view or download the pdf from a modal pop out.
