We have 6 overtime enhancements rolling out between October 2024 - Feb 2025!
Overtime Rules - 6 Upcoming Releases!!!
If you haven't already setup overtime rules, you can read about that here:
After approving a timesheet and running it through Overtime Rules (Run Overtime Rules), you may need to adjust the timesheet codes on a timesheet to account for scenarios that Assignar rules don't handle. For instance, if you pay workers a different rate on a bad weather day, you can open up a timesheet and change the timesheet codes to a different code that has a higher rate in your payroll solution.

Manually Adjust Timesheet Codes from the Timesheet Weekly Page
From the Timesheets Weekly view, expand a worker to see the timesheet codes applied for each day in the selected week. To adjust the codes on a particular day, click the edit icon on that day.
A modal will appear allowing you to change the timesheet code on any timesheets for that worker on the selected day. Click the Timesheet Codes dropdown to select a different timesheet code, note that the category is indicated by RT, OT1 and OT2 in the dropdown selector. After changing a Timesheet Code, the Overtime Rule will now indicate "Manually Changed" and this action is recorded in the audit log.
If you need to code a block of time as 2 separate timesheet codes, click the "Split" button and a modal will appear allowing you to break up that time block. In the below screenshot, the 7AM - 11AM timeblock will get split into 2 timeblocks after 2 hrs and 30 minutes.
After applying this change, notice that the sing Compaction Cost from 7am - 11AM is now represented as 2 Compaction Cost Codes: 7 - 9:30 AM and 9:30 - 11 AM allowing you to apply different Timesheet Codes to these timeblocks.
After manually adjusting timesheet codes, mark the timesheet as Processed to lock in the timesheet codes. If you leave the timesheet in the Approved status and someone clicks the "Run Overtime Rules" button again for that week, the timesheet will go through the Overtime Rules again and your manually applied Timesheet Codes will be removed and replaced by Timesheet Codes from the Overtime Rules.
Manually Adjust Timesheet Codes from the Timesheet Daily Page
You can also change Timesheet Codes from the Timesheet Daily page. The process is very similar compared with changing Timesheet Codes from the Timesheet Weekly page, you just access the edit modal from an individual timesheet.
If you need to see the timesheet comments, or other specific information that isn't shown on the Timesheet Weekly page, then you can open up the timesheet on the Timesheet Daily page to view all of the timesheet information and then edit the codes.
The edit icon then opens up the Timesheet Code edit modal and you can edit the codes using the same process described in the section "Manually Adjust Timesheet Codes from the Timesheet Weekly Page".
