In order for Assignar to capture the geolocation on a worker's mobile device, the worker must enable location services for the Assignar app.
You can require workers to share location services with a setting called "Require Geolocation for Timesheets". If you enable this setting, then workers are not able to submit a timesheet unless they have enabled location services.
Please note, this setting is only able to be enforced for workers on app version 11.6.5 or later (released February 2026).
Geolocation is captured when a standard timesheet is submitted. And for check-in / check-out timesheets, the location is captured when the worker checks in at the start of their shift and when they check out at the end.
