Set Up Roles with Assets / Equipment

When you're adding a Role to Assignar, you can also add the assets that you typically use with this Role. This will come in handy when you come to schedule, as we'll recommend these assets when you're scheduling this Role to your jobs. You can also require workers submitting a timesheet on a specific role to also add assets to the timesheet before they are able to submit the timesheet.

 

Add assets to a Role

  1. Go to Resources Roles 
  2. Select a Role
  3. Go to the Assets (or Equipment) tab
  4. Select one of the 3 options:
    1. No Assets needed
      • This is the default selection 
    2. Assets needed for this Role
      • Selecting this option means that assets added to this role will be recommended when scheduling workers to this role
    3. Assets required for this Role
      • In addition to assets being recommended on the scheduler, it also is mandatory for a worker to add an asset to their timesheet before they are able to submit it. This ensures that operator workers that always use an asset don't forget to add it to their timesheet. 
  5. In the Add Asset to Role search bar, start searching and selecting your equipment
  6. Save
