Learn the two types of users in Assignar and which app each one uses.
Assignar has two types of users. You add and manage both from the Users page, under Resources > Users: dashboard users on the Dashboard tab and workers on the Workers tab.
| User type | Description |
|---|---|
| Dashboard Users | Work in the back office, coordinating work and verifying field data, usually on a laptop or desktop. Dashboard users access the Assignar Web App. They are managed on the Dashboard tab of the Users page. |
| Workers | Work in the field on job sites. They use the Assignar Mobile App to accept or decline allocations, complete forms, and update competencies. They are managed on the Workers tab of the Users page. |
How each type signs in
- Dashboard users sign in to the Assignar Web App at dashboard.assignar.com.au (APAC) or dashboard.assignar.com (North America and Europe).
- Workers use the Assignar Mobile App: Assignar for iOS or Assignar for Android. You can also login through a browser at https://mobile.assignar.com however the mobile login is recommended.
Things to know
- You add and manage both user types from Resources > Users.
- The same person can have both a worker account and a dashboard user account. If they use the same email address for both, they log in to each with the same credentials.
- A worker needs Allow Mobile Access turned on before they can log in to the Assignar Mobile App.
