Submit a Form from an Assignment

  • Updated

Who can use this feature

All your scheduled and optional forms can be accessed through your Assignment. There is no need to jump between menus and screens - everything you need to stay on top of your documentation is in one spot.

There are 3 types of Forms:

  • Required
  • Optional
  • Collaborative

If you've been assigned a Required Form...

You'll see the Form right from your Assignment card, like below. These type of Forms are required, which means you'll need to complete it before you submit your Timesheet.

Note for admins: You can learn how to setup Required Forms here.

If you've been assigned a Optional Form...

These Forms are optional and can be completed when you need to. You can find these type of Forms by tapping the Other Forms button or from the Assignment page.

If you've been assigned a Collaborative Form...

These Forms can be completed by multiple people. You will know if a Form is Collaborative if you see the:

  • users.png icon in the Assignment Card or,
  • Collab_icon.png icon in the Assignment page

Only one person can complete a Collaborative form at a time, so if you see the closed.png icon, this means another person is currently completing the form and you will have to wait for them to finish before you can start.

You can learn more about Collaborative forms here

Can I submit a Form that was not assigned to me?

Can I submit a Form more than once?

Yes!

If you need to submit the same Form more than once:

  1. Tap the Other Forms button from your Assignment card
  2. Search for the Form you want to complete
  3. OR from the Assignment page, under the Forms section, tap Start New

Things to Note

  • Required forms that you’ve been scheduled still appear directly on your Assignment card.

  • Once you start a Form, you can easily keep track of what is in progress and completed from your Assignment card.

  • The Forms you complete through your Assignment card are automatically linked, allowing office staff to keep track of which Forms you completed during your shift.
