Update Your Company Settings

Update the company-wide settings that apply across your whole Assignar account.

Before you start

You will need dashboard access with the Settings permission to update company settings. If you don't have access, speak to your admin team about getting the correct user permissions.

You'll find these options under Settings in the dashboard.

 

Important

Changes on the Settings page are company-wide and affect all your Assignar users.

The Settings page groups your company-wide options into the sections below.

General Settings

Setting Description
Allow supervisors to create site diary When set to Yes, your supervisors have access to Site Diary.
Allow edit and delete of journal entries When set to Yes, users can edit or delete journal entries.
Default Country Your default country. This sets your location in the dashboard.
Phone Number Default Country Sets the default country for phone numbers.
Procore Tenant ID If you have a Procore ID, add it here.
SMS Email Address Email addresses entered here are notified of incoming SMS messages.
Auto-update Asset Number Reading Auto-updates equipment number readings from submitted forms.

Order Settings

Setting Description
Chargeable item - additional information Adds questions to the Chargeable Item form. This applies to a worker's assignment card only, not Site Diary.
Default Order Status The default status for new orders.
Order resource timeline default view The default view for the Order Resources Timeline.
Order Summary Email - Body The template for order notification emails.
Order Summary Email - Subject The subject of the order summary email.
Default start and time for order roles Each time a Role is added, this is the default assignment time.
Company Working Days Your typical company working days. You can override this when scheduling.
Leave Request Standard Shift The start and end time for standard shift leave requests.

Allocation Settings

Setting Description
Allocation default status The default status for new assignments.
Declined Allocation Email - Body The email template for when a worker declines an assignment.
Declined Allocation Email - Subject The subject of the declined assignment email.
Allocation Email Address Email addresses entered here are sent an automated email when a worker declines an assignment.

Timesheet Settings

Setting Description
Approve Timesheets Before Export When toggled on, only approved timesheets can be exported. 
Lock Timesheets After Export When toggled on, timesheets are locked when exported. 
Retain Timesheet Client Signature When enabled, the client signature is kept on a timesheet even after it is edited. A watermark is added over the signature to show the timesheet was amended after signing. 
Note: There is a separate setting for retaining the client signature on a site diary.

Site Diary Settings

Setting Description
Additional Questions Set up questions here, similar to Forms, for supervisors to complete in their Site Diary.
Retain Site Diary Client Signature When enabled, the client signature is kept on a site diary even after it is edited. A watermark is added over the signature to show it was amended after signing. If edited on a mobile device, you can re-sign or skip the client signature, and a watermark is placed over the original. 
Note: There is a separate setting for retaining the client signature on a timesheet.

Email Settings

Setting Description
Digital Docket Reply-To Email Address The email address that receives replies to dockets sent to clients.
HR Email address Receives emails when workers submit leave requests, competencies, and inductions
Note: Only if through the Assignar Mobile App.
Email Logo Add your company logo to include it on emails sent from Assignar.

Webhook/third-party systems Settings

Setting Description
New Client webhook URL Posts new client data to a third-party system.
New Contact webhook URL Posts new contact data to a third-party system.
Order webhook URL Posts order data to a third-party system.

Mobile App Settings

Setting Description
Availability readonly Makes "Availability" read-only on the mobile app.
Enable check in/out in allocations When toggled on, workers can check in or out of their assignment. Toggled off, they can create post-shift timesheets instead.
Default break time for timesheets Sets a default break time when workers complete timesheets.
Enable overlapping timesheet validation When toggled on, workers can submit timesheets with overlapping time.
Show Allowances on Mobile When toggled on, workers can add allowances to their timesheet.
Show chargeable item rates on mobile When toggled on, workers can see the default rates of the Chargeable Item.
Show break time when checking out When toggled on, the worker can view the break time when checking out. 
Enable Digital Dockets to be emailed on mobile When toggled on, workers can email their completed dockets.
Enable form results to be emailed on mobile When toggled on, workers can email their completed forms.
Show charge items on mobile When toggled on, workers can add charge items.
Show team member phone number and email address When toggled on, workers can view the phone numbers and email addresses of everyone assigned to the same job.
Hide Add Timesheet Button on Mobile Timesheets When toggled on, workers cannot create unscheduled timesheets.
Hide Add Timesheet Button on Mobile Confirmed Allocations When toggled on, workers cannot tap the Add Timesheet button for confirmed assignments.
Mobile Timesheets Editable Until Approved When toggled on, workers can edit their timesheets until they are approved.
Require Timesheet Signature When toggled on, workers must sign their timesheet. 
Allow worker timesheets to overlap Lets a worker create multiple timesheets that overlap. Overlapping timesheets are flagged on the Timesheet Daily page with an info icon next to the status.

Enable Timesheet Rounding When toggled on, you can round timesheets from the dashboard. On the Timesheet Daily page, select submitted unapproved timesheets, choose Round Timesheet, choose how to round, then Approve Timesheets.

Notifications Settings

Setting Description
Enable notifications for allocation check-in / check-out When toggled on, workers get a notification reminding them to check in or out.
Enable notifications for required forms Workers get a notification if they have not filled out the required form for their assignment. Applies to legacy Time Tracking only.
