Deactivate a user to remove their access when they leave, and reactivate them if they return.
|
Before you start You will need dashboard access to deactivate or reactivate users. If you don't have access, speak to your admin team about getting the correct user permissions. Users are managed under Resources > Users. |
When someone leaves, deactivate their account so they can no longer access Assignar. Deactivating used to be called archiving. Their existing data, such as timesheets and forms, stays in Assignar, and you can reactivate the account at any time if they return.
Deactivate a user
- Go to Resources > Users and open the Workers or Dashboard tab, depending on the type of user.
- Find the user, then click the three-dot menu next to their name.
- Click Deactivate.
- Confirm when prompted.
Reactivate a user
- Go to Resources > Users and open the Workers or Dashboard tab.
- Switch the Active filter to Deactivated.
- Find the user, click the three-dot menu next to their name, then click Activate.
