How to Log In to Assignar: Dashboard/Mobile

  • Updated

Log in to Assignar on the dashboard or the mobile app, on the correct regional portal.

Before you start

  • Your company must set up your worker or dashboard user account before you can log in. Ask your office administrator to create an account using your correct email address.
  • Once your account is set up, you will receive an email to verify your address and create a password.
  • If you only have a dashboard account you cannot log in on mobile, and the reverse is also true.

Dashboard - Choose the right regional portal

Assignar runs two regional portals: AU/NZ and US. The login screen shows a small badge next to the Welcome to Assignar heading so you can tell which one you are on at a glance. Side by side, the two badges look like this:

Dashboard URLs

Region badge Dashboard URL
AU/NZ dashboard.assignar.com.au
US dashboard.assignar.com

The mobile web app at mobile.assignar.com is shared across regions, so the URL is the same wherever you are. You still see the AU/NZ or US badge on the login screen based on which account you sign in to.

Switching regions from the geolocation prompt

If you allow location access in your browser, Assignar checks your region and shows a prompt when you land on the wrong portal. For example, if you are in Asia-Pacific but you open the US dashboard, you will see this message:

Click Switch to AU (or Switch to US if you see the reverse prompt) and Assignar will redirect you to the matching regional URL. If you would rather stay where you are, click the X to dismiss the prompt.

Log in on mobile

  1. Open the mobile app from your phone, or go to mobile.assignar.com in any web browser.
  2. Tap Login and enter your email and password.

Log in on the dashboard

  1. In your browser, go to dashboard.assignar.com.au (AU/NZ) or dashboard.assignar.com (US).
  2. Check the region badge next to Welcome to Assignar. If the geolocation prompt suggests you should switch regions, click Switch to AU or Switch to US as appropriate.
  3. Click Login and enter your email and password.
Note if you have logged in before and have multiple workspaces it may ask which workspace you would like to log into.

Other ways to sign in - once you have created a password and logged in for the first time

If you would rather not type a password, you have two alternatives. Both work on mobile and on the dashboard.

  • Quick sign-in link. A one-time login link emailed to the address you registered with.
  • Google, Apple, or Microsoft sign-in. Available if your company has connected single sign-on.

See Log in with SSO or a quick sign-in link for the full setup and troubleshooting steps.

Things to know

  • When entering your login details, type your email and password directly. Autofill and autocomplete sometimes add an extra character and cause an error.
  • The geolocation prompt only appears if you allow your browser to share location. If you blocked location access, the badge is your only visual cue.
  • If your email is connected to more than one Assignar account, you can switch between them after logging in. See Switch between Workspaces below.
