Set Up a Single Worker

Who this feature is for

  • Those set up as a Dashboard User with access to Workers page in the Assignar Web App.
  • Typically an admin responsible for setting up Assignar

You can create Worker user accounts, giving workers access to the Assignar Mobile App.

To set up Workers in bulk, you can use our Assisted Import.

 

1. Create a Worker

  1. Go to Resources > Workers 
  2. Click +Add new Worker
  3. Complete the required fields:
    • User Type (select Worker)
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email (this will be used to log in)
    • Toggle on Allow Mobile Access
  4. Save User

2. Set Worker permissions

User permissions control the types of data workers can create and edit in the Assignar Mobile App.

  1. After clicking Save User, you'll be taken to the User Access page
  2. Edit as required
  3. Save access settings

Field Description
Team Tags (User Tags) This worker will only see other workers with this tag in the Assignar Mobile App.
Asset Tags This worker will only see equipment (assets) with this tag in the Assignar Mobile App.
Document Tags This worker will only see documents with this tag in the Assignar Mobile App.
Order Search When enabled, this worker can search for Orders in the Assignar Mobile App.
Contact Search When enabled, this worker can search for contacts in the Assignar Mobile App.
Create Orders When enabled, this worker has access to create Orders in the Assignar Mobile App. 

 

3. Worker Login

Once the Worker has been set up, they'll receive a verification email (at the address listed in their account). After verifying and setting up their password, the Worker will be able to log in to the Assignar Mobile App using their credentials (Client ID, email, password).

Note: If a worker forgets their password, they can always reset it by tapping Forgot your password?
